Half Day Club Runs May - August

The Half Day runs are our fastest rides and are patronised by many of our competition riders. To join these runs you’ll need to have a fairly high level of cycling fitness. As a rule of thumb (although this isn’t a guarantee!) if you can ride on your own for 30 miles at an average speed of 18mph fairly comfortably then you’ll have the required level of fitness to stay with the half day group. Rides always take in a cafe stop and they usually speed up considerably towards the end of the ride.

Notes:
All our rides leave from the front of Rackham's store in the centre of Altrincham every Sunday where you will have a choice of rides. Click here for more detail on the types of rides we run.

All rides are round trips starting and finishing in Altrincham. The above destinations are where the rides stop for a cafe break to replenish energy levels.

All leave at 9:00 in the summer, with the tourists moving to 9:30 in the winter months.

New riders are more than welcome to come along on a Sunday and try a club run two or three times to see how they get on. After joining us on a few runs however the expectation would be for you to apply to join the club if you wanted to continue.
